Coming Off a feature in Issa
Goal, where he arguably dropped his
hottest verse in a minute, pop culture
darling and one of the biggest exponents of the Yoruba street sound sound, Lil Kesh is on course to redeem his
promise of delivering five (we want more, though) massive singles this year.
Again O is
typical Kesh; noisy and danceable,
starting with his trademark Yoruba scream. The beat is unambitious, bearing semblance
to his hit Gbese Re Ó. Into the drum
jingle, Kesh mentions popular phrase "I deserve some accolades" and
certainly he does. Making music for today's youths is often troublesome, due to
the short attention span and overall life span But somehow, he manages to churn
out hits with relative ease and obvious fun in the studio.
If there is any complaint about Again O, it is the usual
- ness of the song. One is unsure if he hasn't heard the song before. Although Lil Kesh obviously possess terrific planning skills, we can safely say
he's studied the climate and he's settled on Again O. Not sure it is a smart
decision, though.
