Baseline act Aramide taps into this "poetic license" on Fall On Them, a firebrand song that invokes memories of a praying church in Nigeria.

Timaya knows how to conveniently switch from "bum bum shaking secular" themes to Gospel, motivational.

We've written (here) about Timaya's three muses: God, women and money. Like most pop artistes however, the Egberi Papa doesn't get much backlash over the audacity of his thematic choices.

Surprisingly, Fall on Them starts as a mellow jam until the Adekunle Gold esque drums enters and infuses an Afrobeats vibe into it and in no time ,Timaya just enters to do his thing, dropping a ABBA rhyme scheme opener, his verse relying on the strength of his vocals.

But if I call the Holy Ghost, Holy Ghost go answer me (answer me)
Oba aye go fire them (Fire them), fire burn the enemies (enemies)
if I call the Holy Ghost, Holy Ghost go answer me (answer me)
Oba aye go fire them (Fire them), fire burn the enemies (enemies)
Holy Ghost fire, fire fall on them, Holy Ghost fire, fire fall on them,
Holy Ghost fire, fire fall on them

Nigeria is big on religion and if well promoted and backed with a great video, Aramide is about to have a smash hit!!!
