Curated for your listening pleasure, these are ten new songs we feel will be a worthy accompaniment throughout the week.

1.       RUNTOWN ft. NASTY C – No Permission
This trap cut has both previous collaborators flexing lyrical muscles over a bouncy beat.

2.       SIMI – Lovin’
Oscar, Simi’s longtime producer provides a scintillating mix of a beat for this heart melting song. There’s a bit of pop, highlife and reggae in this one. Definitely one of the standouts in Simi’s stellar discography.

3.       KIZZ DANIEL ft. DAVIDO – One Ticket
A collaboration long touted, Kizz and OBO bemoan the ‘fake love’ of a love interest. The drums of Major Bangz’s production provide the perfect outlet for the vocals to thrive.

4.       TEMMIE OVWASA – Holy Water
A soulful record from the YBNL Princess, as she bares her heart on a couple of matters. Made for an introspective night.

5.       PATORANKING – Everyday
An EDM inspired song, Patoranking continues in great music form after the release of this new one.

6.       R2BEES ft. WIZKID – Supa
The Ghanaian duo and Wizkid collaboration has never failed, and this one is no exception. A mellow jam which will put you in a similar mood; definitely a must listen.

7.       METRO BOOMIN ft. Wizkid & Swae Lee – Borrowed Love
A soft jam, off the American producer’s recently released album Not All Heroes Wear Capes. This is one of the two songs which feature our own Starboy.

8.       AINA MORE – Take It
UK based Nigerian rapper Aina More has been on a roll of late; she’s opened for Lauryn Hill and has had success off wax but Take It is her first release of the year.

An Afropop cut which has her tune down her lyricism to turn in a song which in an alternate universe features Niniola.

9.       METRO BOOMIN ft. Wizkid, Offset & J Balvin – Only You
Wizkid is involved from the get go; indeed, he serves as a sort of opener and a cultural bridge for this song which features Spanish reggaeton vibes and a wee bit of Southern American trap.

10.   TOPE ALABI ft. TY BELLO & GEORGE – Logan Ti Ode
A soulful worship song rendered in Tope’s powerful Yoruba, assisted by the magnificent TY Bello and George. Leading to the first Monday in a new month, this is one song our religious listeners can’t afford to not sing to while bathing, or driving to work. Or doing anything and everything else.
