As the month of March ends, we only hope April brings forth good tidings musically. The third month was filled with many good songs and here are ten of those, majority released on its last week.

We do hope they’re worthy accompaniment throughout the first days of April, as we await more music.

1.       A-Q ft RUBY GYANG – -VE
‘The Greatest' has put out his first release of 2019, a single meant to keep the people on perky ears for his God's Engineering album scheduled for release on August.
-VE sees Q dipping into his bag of storytelling as he last displayed on The PVC Story. With Ruby turning in a hook of pearly sheen, A-Q paints a disturbing story which doesn’t falter in skill and humanity.

2.       WAJE & OMAWUMI – She Is
Even in the event of that ‘music is not for me' video, WAJE is, by any measure, a very talented musician. The failure to properly structure the industry to reward deserving acts is a shame, more difficult for women even.
However, music isn’t easily done away with and on She Is, besties WAJE and Omawumi voice the strength of a woman in the pursuit of success in career and happiness generally.

The song is also the soundtrack of a recently released movie with the same title.

3.       PSYCHO YP ft. BLAQBONEZ, DREMO & YCEE – Oga (Remix)
The budding Abuja act who is a member of The Slum Village, a group of collectives who recently put out the fine Welcome To The Ville joint project.
After that, Psycho, a frontrunner of the movement has continued to make strides, first by being in the lineup for Gidifest and now, scoring the hottest hip hop joint in the country.
On the remix of hit Oga, he receives excellent verses from the wavy rappers.

4.       ERIGGA ft. BRENNY JONES – Situation Room
The South South heavyweight who has announced a forthcoming mashup with Yung 6ix released Situation Room on the last day of March.
In usual Erigga style, wise words are being rapped and you get to unplug your listening device with a treatise on the ways of the street. The up and coming Brenny also delivers on the song.

5.       PERUZZI & ZLATAN – Bayi Bayi
The DMW vibe creator and Zlatan hook up for the first time to release a song of immense hit potential.

6.       IDOWEST ft. YONDA – Jaiye
DMW's rapper Idowest recently put out a seven track project titled the Mafia Culture EP. Off that project, is this groovy song featuring label mate Yonda.
Both acts go hard on it, flexing on their life of flexing.

7.       REEKADO BANKS – Maria
Reeky Tom Tom enlists the production expertise of Young John on his first official release since starting his Banks Music label.
In trademark Reekado fashion, the song is songwriting genius. Delivered well too.

8.       MAKA – Precious Stone
In anticipation of the Mothering Sunday, Nigerian Soul singer Maka put out Precious Stone, a funky-soulful ode to her mother and in general, every woman.

9.       SAMVSTHEKIDS – Not The Song For You
This Sam kid we verily proclaim a problem. This song, off his excellent To The Top Please mixtape showcases his core strength of wit and fluid delivery.

10.   TAY IWAR – Sidelines
The Universal Music Group artiste who’s recently released debut album has been anticipated for quite some time now employed a rather ingenious style of roll-out.

About five songs which feature in the Gemini album have already been released as singles and Sidelines is one of those. In the song, Tay addresses insecurity in a relationship.
